Incorporated in 1960, Harliss Specialties Corporation has accumulated over 48 years of experience in the welding, machining and fabrication business, offering custom fabrications from light gauge sheet metal to heavy steel plate and structural weldments.
After gaining experience in many types of vessel fabrications, Harliss Specialties acquired a “U” Stamp in 1984 for the design, fabrication and testing of Unfired Pressure Vessels to ASME VIII, Div. 1.
By 1991, the company had grown and so did it product lines. Employees were up to 50 and the products had expanded to include: air and fuel tanks for the military, drinking water tanks for private jets, code and non-code pressure vessels, steam ejectors, light and medium sheet metal work, structural fabrications and the fabrication and welding of exotic metals.
Today Harliss Specialties has the capability to do larger and heavier projects then ever before. We have built more buildings and have increased our crane capacities to be able to tackle larger projects. We have diversified even more and have started building complete systems for sewage treatment and waste water facilities and have the ability to not only do metal piping projects but plastic piping as well.
Our welders are qualified and certified to ASME Sec. IX for all types of metals including: Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy and Titanium. All fabrication systems are designed and detailed in conjunction with our computer aided engineering programs and C.A.D generated drawing process.
Our extensive fabricating, welding and machine shop equipment is used to aid us in our desire for continued growth and to expand our diversification to cope with the ever changing advances in technology.
